The Ambassade Hotel is situated in 10 original 17th-century canal-side mansions along the Herengracht and Singel which is part of the Canal Belt. It offers free WiFi, 2 lifts and unique rooms featuring luxurious decor combining art works from the famous 1950's-CoBrA movement with Louis XV furnishing. Each air-conditioned room includes satellite TV, a seating area and a work desk. Guests receive a discount on sessions and combined massages offered at Koan Float, the hotel's floatation center. The Library-Bar contains over 4000 books, all signed by the authors during their stay at the Ambassade Hotel and has an adjacent lounge that can also be hired for small meetings. On the first floor Brasserie Ambassade is run by Executive Chef Tom van de Coolwijk and his brigade, who specialize in the classic French cuisine.
