Hedley House Hotel Description
Located in a quiet residential area just outside the city walls, Hedley House was tastefully converted in 1984 from two Victorian town houses. It has its own private car park and lock-up garages - important in York where parking is at a premium.

Cash, cheques, Debit, switch and maestro are free.
All rooms are now non-smoking.
In 2005 we received a SILVER AWARD from the English Tourist Board.
All rooms are non-smoking and en-suite and most have a bath and shower, hospitality tray and colour television. Rooms do vary in size due to the nature of the building. Early breakfast can be served on prior arrangement. We also have several self-catering apartments available for your stay in York.
We have a lounge bar for the exclusive use of our guests and we serve home-cooked evening meals and snacks. We also now have a BBQ area and a 6 person outdoor aqua spa on a garden deck for your enjoyment!
New conference facilities have been added and we can cater for up to 18 delegates. |

Not part of a chain, this little gem of a hotel is highly recommended. Only twelve minutes walk from York Minster, ample private parking is provided at no extra cost. If you dont want to walk to the medieval city centre, then simply hop on the shuttlebus outside the hotel. Popular whisky bar and Lamplight Restaurant open all year, with a superb Wine List. Rooms are located around the main building, stone-flagged courtyard, and in a nearby late-Georgian annex. Broadband internet access is provided in the lobby. Special Christmas and New Year Breaks available.
