DescriptionThe Barns Hotel is situated in a beautiful riverside location, within 3.5 acres of landscaped gardens, yet just 16 km from the M1 and 13 km from A1. Samuel Whitbread, founder of the brewing business, was born in the main house in 1720 and it remained within the Whitbread family until 1890s, becoming a hotel in 1987.
