Girasole Hotel Description
It is a family run structure of 39 rooms. In fact the first rooms of the Hotel in 1970 were built in the home of the Ruocco family. In recent years the building has grown and it has been enriched with new and modern facilities such as the swimming pool. The Hotel is approximately 800m from the centre and 500m from the beach, one can reach both the Sorrento and S.Agnello train stations easily on foot.
Our swimming pool is open from 01/05 to 31/10 and has the added luxury of a solarium where there are sun shade and deckchairs provided for your use and a gazebo where you can shade from the very hot summer sun. The pool bar offers a good selection of local dishes and sandwiches, cold drinks, ice cream and home made cakes. The many amenities include panoramic views of the Gulf of Naples and of Vesuvius, bar, heating, air conditioning and parking place.
Our guests can also admire our collection of Sorrento inlaid woodworks designed by craftsmen of the 1800. On request in the surrounding area of the Hotel one can visit a typical orange and lemon grove of Sorrento.
If you wish you can bring your pets with you to pass their holiday with you. |

For 5 people going back to 1840. A house in front of the sea with a huge green garden of 500mq with olive and lemon trees, situated right in the center of Massalubrense, in the heart of the Riserva punta Campanella, in a zone of amazing landscapes, only 1 km from Sorrento. From the center of Massalubrense you get to Marina della Lobra, village built in front of the beach and with a small port. The b&b consists of two suites, each with bath and shower, elegantly furnished. You can access to the garden from the hall. You will find tables and chairs where you can relax or you can use the solarium. Supermarkets, stores and restaurants are nearby. From the villa the main tourist localities are easily reachable such as: Sorrento Peninsula, the Amalfi Coast, Positano and the bay of Nerano. From Sorrento there are marine connections to Capri, Ischia and Naples. Pompei, Oplonti and Ercolano are 40 minutes from Sorrento by train.
