The castle is surrounded by tall walls, parts of which remain today as ruins. The castle lies in the historic part of Angra, which has been designated a world heritage site by UNESCO. The city centre is situated within 300 m of the hotel.
Opened in 2006, this 3-storey hotel has a total of 29 rooms, including 1 suite. The lobby offers a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe and lifts.
