This country house hotel is one of the leading hotels in the region, located on the west bank of the River Moy, between Foxford and Ballina, in County Mayo, the most beautiful part of the west of Ireland. Ireland West Airport Knock is around 42 km away, Sligo Airport is about 73 km away and Galway airport is some 100 km away.
This luxury country house hotel has 32 rooms and is a welcoming place. The estate enjoys more than 3 km of double bank salmon fishing on the River Moy, and the 100 acres of grounds have been redeveloped and landscaped to incorporate lakeside and woodland walks. Guests are welcomed in the lobby, which offers lift access to the upper floors. Guests can enjoy a drink in the pub and dine in the restaurant. Other services include conference rooms, and there is a car park for those arriving by car.
The rooms are spacious with high ceilings, cornices, free standing furniture and are finished to the highest standard. The rooms feature soft and tranquil colours, reflecting the beauty of the woodlands outside each window. Many of the original features of the old house are carried through seamlessly into these rooms. All rooms are en suite and feature a shower, bath and hairdryer, as well as a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV and Internet access.
The establishment has a leisure centre with a 17-metre indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub and fully equipped, air-conditioned gym with the very latest equipment. Spa and massage treatments (for an extra fee) are also available. Golf is available for a fee. Fans of the fairway can visit a nearby golf course some 22 km away.
