DescriptionThe station and all the many tourist attractions are only a few minutes walk. The Queens Hotel York England is one of the most central hotels in York, with quality hotel accommodation at affordable prices. Although some of rates are on a room only basis, our Restaurant is open daily for breakfast from 7.30 am until 9.30 am Monday - Friday, and 10.30 am on weekends, you are more than welcome to join us for breakfast. Dinner is also available from 6.00pm until 9.00pm every day.
Car Parking limited at the Hotel and chargeable @ 10.00 per night, you must book a space direct with the Hotel prior to arrival. If our car park is fully booked there is an alternative chargeable (12.00 per 24 hours) public car park 200 yards from the Hotel. There are parking restrictions on the street and the river bank outside the Hotel.
Every year Viking warriors race their long boats right outside the Queens Hotel. No other hotel in York can provide such a favourable location to enjoy the medieval York battle. Sit and relax on our new balcony whilst watching the events on the River. River View Rooms should be requested but are not guaranteed and are chargeable @ 5.00 per night.
We also have a sister Hotel; The Parsonage Country House Hotel, just outside York situated on the A19 towards Selby.

DirectionsFrom the North
From the A1 to the A59 to the City Centre, pass through City Walls, through the first set of traffic lights, at the second set of lights, turn right onto Skeldergate.
Or, from the A19 across the outer ring road (A1237) into York, passing the Theatre Royal. Turn right at the traffic lights, over the bridge to the next set of lights. Turn left into George Hudson Street. Turn left at the next lights and first right to Skeldergate.
From the South
M1 to A1(M), to A64 to A1036 slip road to City Centre. Pass through City Walls, through first set of traffic lights, at the second set of lights, turn right on to Skeldergate.
From the East
A1079 to City Centre to Walmgate. Turn left and continue past the Barbican Centre. Stay on the right and follow one-way system, Keeping to the middle lane to the roundabout. Continue to the next set of traffic lights passing Clifford's Tower on the right, follow the road over the bridge to the traffic lights and turn left in to Skeldergate.
