Glendower Hotel Description
We are 100% no smoking
The Hotel stands in its own grounds and comprises three floors. The upper two floors are entirely accommodation and the lower floor has the dining room, bar, guests lounge, kitchen and access to the patio. The lower accommodation floor has level access for guests.
This year we are introducing (all free of charge) internet access (wi-fi) in all bedrooms, Digital free-to-view TV in all bedrooms, personal security box in all bedrooms and for those without their own computers we have an internet cafe available.
We offer quality B+B in comfortable surroundings and most of our rooms are substantially larger than our competitors however our prices are comparable with many higher graded properties and yet we give so much extra. Although only 5 minutes walk from Torquay Harbour and the city center, we are situated in a quiet residential position away from all traffic noise and can offer plenty of guaranteed free parking.(very few hotels in Torquay have enough parking for all guests) The Hotel's sun-trap garden is ideal for spending a day lazing around the pool (Open June to September). We have a large bar and restuarant which would make a great venue for a function.(The bar and restaurant are set in the base of the old Torquay Wintergardens)
We have single, Double, Twin and Family rooms all of which are furnished to a high standard with tea/coffee making facilities and all rooms have a digital freeview colour T.V.Free internet access is available at all times. Rooms with sea views are available on request, so early booking is advisable to avoid disappointment. All rooms are en-suite and non-smoking.No all male groups are allowed without prior agreement.
