Room FacilitiesAll rooms are en suite and contain a colour TV, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, radio alarm clocks, hairdryers, hand and bath towels and private keys. They face either west or east.
All rooms have been recently decorated in pastel shades and are named (rather than numbered) after local coves and bays.
DescriptionIdeally situated on the level in the heart of Newquay, this 3-star guest house is just a short stroll away from 7 fine sandy beaches and the harbour.
Being near the rail and coach stations, it is well situated for day trips to such destinations as Tintagel, Padstow, Eden Project and St.Ives etc.
Every effort is made to source locally produced food. A fruit basket is provided at reception and all rooms are tastefully decorated in pastel shades. All rooms contain an en suite shower and toilet, and are complemented with towels, a hairdryer, TV, tea/coffee making facilities, radio/alarms and a small fridge.

Additional InformationThe Silver Jubilee, built with local granite as a private house in 1898, was renovated in 1977 to create 7 en suite, self-contained rooms, with a restaurant and bar/lounge on the ground floor.
To this day, it is a cosy, family-run establishment, dedicated to guest comfort and well being. Every wish is catered for and every request wherever possible met. Judith (who is Swiss) and Andrew (English) take great pride in welcoming new and regular guests.
DirectionsThe hotel is a 2 minute walk from the train station and 4 minutes from the bus station. The nearest airport is a 20 minute bus or taxi ride away.
By car:
- Take the A30.
- Join the A392 to Quintrell Downs roundabout and turn right into the A3058 Porth/Newquay road.
- Follow this road until you see the railway station on your left.
- Ahead is a set of traffic lights where you are forced to turn left, this is Berry Road; the hotel is the 4th building on the left, with Palm Trees outside.
