Description

Great Western is an imposing hotel in a magnificent position. All rooms at the hotel have their own en suite bathrooms, and many have large bay windows overlooking the ocean. This enables you to take in the delight that is Newquay beach and it is not unusual to watch surfers from your room. Please note that from November 2007 until the end of February 2008, the hotel is under major refurbishment. Some rooms are open for bookings, but please be aware that only continental breakfast will be available (at extra cost) to have in your room, and none of the hotels facilities will be in use.

By Car: From the A30: - Approximately 6.4 (4 miles) after leaving the dual carriageway at the end of the Bodmin bypass, you will go under an iron railway bridge. - Carry on for another 4.8 km (3 miles) to the next left-hand junction, sign-posted Newquay A392. - Follow signs for Newquay and continue for approximately 8 km (5 miles) to Quintrell Downs. - At the roundabout, take the right-hand exit into Quintrell Road (A3058). - Continue over the level crossing (sign-posted Newquay Porth and Henver Road). - Carry along this road for approximately 4.8 km (3 miles). - You go straight over 2 mini-roundabouts. - After the 2nd mini-roundabout, continue for 365 metres (400 yards). - The Great Western Hotel is on the right. By Public Transport: There is a main bus and train station in the centre of Newquay. Newquay also has its own airport.
