Travel north on the A1, pass the Moto services following the signs for the A1 Newcastle/Gateshead. After approximately 4.5 miles, take the turn off on the left posted A184 Gateshead/Newcastle centre. Follow on the A189 and cross over the Redheugh Bridge, stay in the right hand lane and turn right at the third set of lights (city centre, south A186) in the filter lane at Nexus House. Turn left at the second set of lights (Burger King is on the left hand corner and Newcastle Carling Academy opposite) and then immediate right into Fenkle Street. The Quality Car Park entrance is directly behind the Assembly Rooms, which is approximately 150 yards down on the left.
From the North A1
Follow signs for the South A1 and take the road off to the left signposted City Centre (west). On the A186, continue to follow the signs for about 3 miles when you should see a sign for Fenkle Street Car Parking. Shortly after this you will come to a major crossroads with traffic lights (Burger King is on the left hand corner and Newcastle Carling Academy opposite). Take an immediate right into Fenkle Street. The Quality Car Park entrance is directly behind the Assembly Rooms, which is approximately 150 yards down on the left.
From the West
Follow signs for the A186 Newcastle until you pass the Fenkle Street car parking sign, then the directions are exactly the same as from the north.
By Rail
Come out of the station and cross over the main road (Neville Street). Turn right and head towards the Lounge Bar. At the corner, take a left up Grainger Street. Cross at the first lights and at the second, Boots is on the corner. Take a left and the hotel entrance is located approximately 100 yards on the left hand side.
By Air
Newcastle International Airport is approximately 8 miles from the hotel. The cost of reaching the hotel by Taxis is approximately 12.00.
