Low House Hotel Description
Nestled in a peaceful rural location, and surrounded by beautiful gardens, this charming 17th century country house is a haven of peace and tranquillity, just one mile away from Bowness and Windermere. Low House is very close to Lake Windermere and right in the heart of the Lake District, making it the perfect base for walkers. For those who don?t want to walk, you can enjoy: boat trips on Lake Windermere and the surrounding lakes; Blackwell, the arts and crafts house which hosts various exhibitions; and the surrounding villages with a wealth of restaurants and shops. In the evenings you can relax and unwind in the comfort of one of the 2 sitting rooms, both complete with open log fires in the winter, or enjoy the peaceful garden in the summer.

A good value family run hotel in an excellent location. The owners of the property are very knowledgeable about the area, particularly Andrew. So if you are interested in seeing some of the more eye catching sites in the area be sure to ask his advice he'll be only too pleased to help. This is a no Smoking Hotel you will not be able to smoke either in the rooms or public areas. (0305PH)

Location
The Lakeside Hotel is situated on the shores of Lake Windermere in the English Lake District. Surrounding this hotel is an archetypal Lake District countryside of fells, forests and crystal clear streams.
