A quiet gem of a property formally owned by Beatrix Potter who finished her illustrations for Timmy Toptoes here whilst on holiday in 1911. The idyllic country house hotel set in six acres of beautiful mature grounds, with impressive views over England's largest lake - Lake Windermere. The hotel has been awarded an AA Rosette for food. We can make tee reservations at Windermere Golf Club which is only 1 mile from the hotel.
