Elim House Hotel Description
All of our en suite rooms have a comfortable bed, tea and coffee machine, heating, colour tv, armchairs, hairdryer and private shower room with wc. There are a wide variety of shops and restaurants in the area as well as a cinema, all within easy strolling distance of the house. Lake Windermere is only a ten minute walk away. Here you will find an abundance of water sports for the energetic, or if you prefer to take things easier, a cruise on one of the lake steamers will enable you to take in the wonderful scenery of the area. We are sorry, but we are unable to accommodate children under seven years old at our guest house. |

Throughout the day a selection of freshly made sandwiches and beverages are served. Afternoon tea is served between 3.30 and 5.00 p.m. At lunchtime guests can choose from the Terrace Menu. In the evening there is a four-course table d'hôte menu, which changes daily. A traditional Sunday Lunch (four course Table d'hôte menu) is also available in the restaurant on Sunday from 12.00 - 1.30. The hotel is Ideally situated in Windermere for walking, cycling or touring the Lake District and is close to all the major heritage attractions including: Beatrix Potter's 'Hilltop' and Wordsworth's homes.
