150 year old former country residence set in half acre gardens dominated by the giant 200 year old cedar tree. Located adjacent to the A591 next to St Mary's Church, ten minutes walk from Windermere Village and the Lake.
Cedar Manor is a distinctive period property with many fine features. The Cedar Manor Hotel in Windermere offers wonderful accommodation. The hotel is fully non smoking and has eleven individually designed ensuite rooms, each with their own character and unique features, such as the separate sitting room and luxurious spa bath of Orrest Head Suite, the stunning views of Lake Windermere and the Langdale Pikes from the windows of Langdale, and the romantic four-poster bed of Crinkle Crags. There's even a converted Coach House with its own separate entrance so you can come and go as you please. The hotel lounge and bar has comfortable sofas and armchairs for you to relax, have a drink and enjoy the views of the garden. The Cedar Manor Restaurant in Windermere offers a seasonal à-la-carte menu and table d'hote menu, and is open to hotel guests as well as non-residents. Cedar Manor is a non-smoking hotel. |
