Built in 1879, this one-time doctor?s house and surgery retains its extra-wide doorways and authentic Victorian tiled hallway, with changes made to the building only to add comfort without sacrificing character. With attractive gardens and the option of four-poster beds, Braemount strives to offer that little extra wherever possible. Enjoy complimentary tea and scones upon your afternoon arrival, or wine and chocolates in the evening. You will also have access to the swimming pool, gym, sauna and jacuzzi at a local private leisure club, just a 20 minute walk away. Sparkling wine, champagne and flowers arrangements can also be added to your room as a delightful finishing touch.

Visit Rosemount once and you'll want to stay with us again. Quality b&b handy for boats, trains and automobiles. Welcome to Rosemount, the ideal launch pad for your Lake District stay. After a satisfying night's rest in one of our firm but comfortable beds, stroll down to the elegant dining room. There you'll find a breakfast to keep the keenest walker or cyclist going all day. Rosemount has eight cosy rooms, all with tea and coffee trays and flat-screen TV. Please call or email with your requirements. We regret that we do not accept one night stays. Location
