The small and friendly Dukes Head Inn rests 10 miles south of central London in Richmond-upon-Thames, one of the capital's most historic and desirable suburbs. With its own unique village atmosphere, the suburb is home to many painters, writers, poets, actors and musicians.
Just 5 minutes' walk from the Duke's Head you'll find the thriving town centre, where well known stores mingle with specialist and antique shops. Richmond has long been a mecca for entertainment. It boasts a cinema, nightclub, over 20 pubs, more than 40 restaurants, 2 theatres and a museum. Dukes Head Inn is only 7 minutes' walk from the nearest underground and train station.
Originally from the Emerald Isle, Pat and Mairead are the well-established proprietors of the Dukes Head; a friendly inn situated in a quite residential area on the slopes of Richmond Hill.
With a history dating back to Victorian times (but with facilities that most certainly do not!), the Dukes Head operates as a traditional English inn, offering bed and breakfast at reasonable prices.

There are 43 large double bedrooms with superb bathrooms. Six of these have a large sofa bed for family use, there are also specially adapted rooms for our disabled guests.
The entire hotel and restaurant complex was totally refurbished during 2000, with the addition of a new custom built bedroom building of 30 rooms, which is located to the rear of the premises.
