All bedrooms have en suite facilities, colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities. We will charge £2.50 per person for The Lismore Fry. The Lismore Fry is consists of toast, baked beans, fried mushrooms, fried egg, fried tomato, sausages and coffee,tea or juice. On top of the Continental breakfast you will be having.. |

The Sandgate Hotel was built specifically as a small hotel in the mid- 1800s. However now completely refurbished, there's little Victorian about our bedrooms, unless you count the original balconies at the front overlooking the sea. The rooms extend the sophisticated informality of our bars and dining room to our private spaces. All rooms offer carefully designed comfort and have fully modernised en-suite bathrooms and most rooms boast a panoramic sea view.

This is the closest hotel to Folkestone?s Eurotunnel station, and Dover?s ferry port is just a 10-minute drive away. The convenient location makes the hotel a great base for those visiting the continent, with great transport links and easy access to France by ferry or by train.
The hotel offers comfortable modern accommodation and contemporary comforts and facilities, including high-speed wired internet access in all rooms and complimentary Wi-Fi wireless internet access in the hotel?s lounge and bar area, and the Great Room. A continental breakfast is included in all of the quoted room rates and is available in the Great Room, which also offers informal evening dining. The hotel also has a fully licensed bar.

Located on the Kent coast, Folkestone successfully blends its role as a port and popular seaside resort. You can take a day trip to France by Seacat or ferry from Dover, or on the Channel Tunnel with your car. There is plenty to see in this historic area, including the cities of Canterbury and Rochester, and the famous Dover Castle. Folkestone offers golf, horse racing and a wide range of sporting activities at the Folkestone Sports Centre as well as the new coastal park area and spectacular views of the Channel and Romney Marsh from the North Downs Way and Saxon Shore Way coastal paths.
While there is ample free parking outside the hotel we are not able to reserve or guarantee spaces to any particular guest. However, a little patience in this matter usually means success or a member of the family being able to move our own vehicle.
Guests should note that whilst the hotel has a lift, there are two steps to a landing then four steps to the entrance of the building. Whilst we have made every endeavour to make the property accessible to all, it is impossible to add a ramp within the health and safety regulations, sorry for any disappointment this may cause.
