Marriott Dalmahoy Hotel Description
The Baronial manor house of Dalmahoy dates back to 1720. An extension to the hotel, incorporates the majority of the bedrooms and the golf and leisure club. The country club offers guests complimentary access to the 18m heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, spa bath, and fully equipped air-conditioned gym. July 2006 will see the completion of a major 12 million refurbishment of this two hundred year old grade II listed building which will clearly reposition The George Hotel to its rightful position at the top end of the Edinburgh market.

The hotel will see the creation of a stunning new restaurant and bar concept, Tempus, which will boast its own direct access from George Street.
The George is within easy reach of the majority of Edinburghs most popular attractions including the famous Castle, Princes Street Gardens and Holyrood Palace. A little further a field is Edinburgh Zoo and Leith Port which is now home to the Royal Yacht Britannia.
Easily accessible by road, rail and air, the George Hotel is just a few minutes walk from Waverley Station and is just a short journey from Edinburgh International Airport.
