Edinburgh Waverley station is 10 minutes away from the property, whereas Edinburgh International Airport is 15 minutes away. Due to the hostel style of this property, guestrooms vary in size. All are in fair condition and offer basic en-suite facilities. The inn's canteen style dining area allows guests to purchase and prepare their own meals. There is a kitchen for cooking, and kitchenware is provided. The dining area offers communal seating in canteen style surroundings. This property is especially popular with the under 30's and it can be rather noisy at weekends with its popular 24 hour bar. Also on offer is an Internet cafe, bicycle hire, a gymnasium, a cinema room, a television room and a lively bar. Furthermore, there is a range of cardiovascular machines to choose from along with a free weights area. What's more, once you're feeling at the peak of physical condition, head to the bar and challenge all comers to a game of pool. |

This large townhouse is centrally located in the highly desirable West End area of Edinburgh. This building dates back from the 1860s (with various period features) and is split over three levels - the two upper floors are linked by an elegant sweeping staircase. It also benefits from secondary glazing (front facing windows) a magnificent cupola in the upper hall and a private south facing tiered back garden. It is within close proximity to shops, restaurants, EICC and historic sites.
This accomodation comprises: 7 well proportioned bedrooms with link beds- (can be made up to be either single or double beds)- with the added benefit of 6 bedrooms having en-suite and one large shower room.
There is a separate kitchen and a reception hall providing access to the upper floors by means of a grand sweeping staircase. The large lounge has volumes of natural light from two large sash and case windows, elegant original white marble fireplace (open) forming an attractive focal point.
