Ardblair Guest House is one of a dozen Victorian houses, known locally as The Twelve Apostles, facing Duddingston Park. As you approach along the A1 you will have a spectacular view of Arthur's Seat, a magnificent extinct volcano rising up from Edinburgh city. Leave your car on site and take a few minutes' bus journey into the heart of Edinburgh, Scotland's beautiful capital city.
Walk across the road and play golf at the public nine-hole course; drive less than ten minutes and enjoy the Queen's Park, Holyrood Palace and The Royal Mile; drive or bus to Portobello and enjoy the Promenade or to Leith Waterfront where the Royal Yacht Britannia has made her home.
We have a PC and cable internet access available for the use of our guests from breakfast time till 11 p.m. every day. For those travelling with wireless capable laptop PCs, we have a wireless router giving high-speed internet access, 24 hours a day .

By road from the East and South. Drive up the A1, past the turn-off for the Edinburgh by-pass ( Old Craighall Junction ). turn left at the second roundabout, signposted to Edinburgh City Centre. we are half a mile along on the left, just past the end of the park on your right ( the last house before the next roundabout ).
By road from the North and West. Take the Edinburgh by-pass to the A1 exit ( Old Craighall Junction ) and turn left on the A1 towards Edinburgh. Turn left at the second roundabout, signposted to Edinburgh City Centre. we are half a mile along on the left, just past the end of the park on your right ( the last house before the next roundabout ).
By plane.
Either take an airline bus to the centre of town and then a bus or taxi to Ardblair House or take a taxi all the way.
If you are taking a car and driving from the airport, follow the signs to Edinburgh until you reach the City By-pass ( A720). Take the Edinburgh by-pass to the A1 exit ( Old Craighall Junction ) and turn left on the A1 towards Edinburgh.
