OAK COTTAGE is the Home of Kim & Mike Foreman having Semi-Retired from the 4 Star Coach House in Beamish (35 yrs) We have had so many regular guests asking if we were to continue with our Guest Accommodation that we have decided to operate One Spacious "Cosy En-Suite" either as a Double or Twin.
OAK COTTAGE is located in the lovely, unspoilt village of Holmside, being only 7 miles from Durham City
and ideally located for Newcastle/Gateshead,Metro Centre,Beamish Museum all within easy travelling distance. Approx 10 Minutes from the A1M
OAK COTTAGE acts as an ideal Touring base for Northumbria, Durham and The Northern Dales.
If you are seeking somewhere "Homely" to stay, Traditional English Breakfast,quiet, with the Village "Country Inn" nearby, and well located for your journey then we can help.
