Urban Beach Hotel Description
The Urban Beach is a small family run contemporary hotel located 1.5 miles east of Bournemouth and just a few minutes from the beach. Newly opened in 2006 and at the start of a 3 year renovation programme of this Victorian building, all rooms offer crisp white bed linen, fluffy white towels, en suite bath or shower rooms, tea & coffee (fair trade) making facilities, wireless internet access & the majority a flat screen television and DVD player. Breakfast consists of premium pork & apple sausages sourced from our local butcher, free range eggs, fresh granary breads, Italian coffee and an attention to detail that will ensure you start your day in the best possible way. Mixing the chic design of urban living and the laid back and relaxed attitude of life by the beach, a stay at the Hotel, whether for business or pleasure, is sure to leave you feeling rejuvenated.The most popular room in the hotel with a split level ensuite bathroom, King size bed, leather furniture, LCD television, DVD player and warmly decorated in roasted red and cream. Funky wall, ceiling and stair lights create a great ambience and ultimately all the rooms will be at this standard. An additional bed can be added to this room to make it suitable for families.A spacious King size double room decorated in white, purple and lilac with a full size ensuite bath and shower room. Updated, rather than fully refurbished and set in the eves of the hotel with LCD television and DVD player this is another of our more popular rooms.A good size recently decorated double room with King size leather bed and ensuite bath and shower room. Massive triple aspect windows flood this East facing room with morning light encouraging you to get out of bed early and visit the sites. Decorated in coral and cream and equipped with LCD television and DVD player this is one of our most popular rooms.A large room with both leather King size bed and a single bed marking it a great family or double room with ensuite shower, LCD television and DVD player. Recently decorated in pale blues and cream a nice space to relax.Good size for a single room, but not yet refurbished. Ensuite shower room and two large south facing windows make this our most popular single bedroom.A cosy double room again in the eaves of the hotel with an ensuite shower room. Decorated in white and purples this high level room with a south facing window provides a nice warm space to relax. |

Set in a small haven surrounded by tall pine trees and gardens, the hotel is only a short stroll away from the high-class fashion boutiques, restaurants, nightclubs and theatres. The hotel offers a contemporary, yet stylish Brasserie restaurant and a choice of lounge and bar areas in which to relax.
All of the hotel's sixty-four bedrooms have been designed with the guests' comfort in mind. Twenty-four hour room service is available.
The pride of the Anglo Swiss is its own 'Aqua' health and leisure club, with an indoor, heated swimming pool, a spa, sauna and gym equipment. Adjacent to the leisure complex are the hotel's beautiful sheltered gardens, ideal for soaking up the sun.
The Anglo Swiss is convenient to fine dining, shopping and entertainment venues.
We are currently undergoing refurbishment (due to be finished by the end of March 2006), but disruption to guests is minimal. A large room with two Singles bed with shower and bath.A large room with a Double bed and a Single bed.
Some of these rooms are in chalets at the rear of the main building.
