DescriptionAn ideal base for both the business traveller visiting Cheltenham and Gloucester and for the leisure traveller exploring the Cotswolds. The AA has awarded Beaumont House 4 red diamonds for 2006, placing it in the top 10% of 4 diamond establishments. The RAC has made two awards for the same period. Beaumont House was built in the 1850s in the Regency period of Cheltenham as a private house / villa. It was converted to a hotel in the 1980s. The hotel has 16 bedrooms, all en suite, is family run in a relaxed friendly style with the emphasis on warmth, peace and comfort; it is set in beautiful gardens where drinks may be enjoyed on summer evenings; there is ample car parking space. Our comfortable lounge is the perfect place to relax with a good novel, enjoy a complimentray cappuccino or a drink from our Trust Bar [sorry, not complimentary!] before going out for dinner. There are excellent restaurants within walking distance from the hotel.

DirectionsThe hotel is situated on the A46 Shurdington Road, which is the extension of Bath Road. From Oxford on the A40 look for the sign of the A46 Stroud & Shurdington. At the roundabout in Bath Road, take the right hand road at the Norwood Arms Pub. The hotel is 200 yards on the left after the pub, before the traffic lights.
From the M5 take exit 11 and follow sign to Cheltenham. At the first round about (Golden Valley) exit roundabout at 2 o clock towards Shurdington. Go over several little roundabouts, always following the signs to Shurdington. Ignore all signs for Cheltenham. Eventually on a straight road, you will go past Morrisons supermarket on your left. On the next T-junction/roundabout follow the sign to Cheltenham. After one mile, AND PASSING THROUGH PEDESTRIAN LIGHTS, you will reach traffic lights at a crossroad junction, go straight over and the hotel is the fourth property on your right.
