At the Bear you are assured of a warm welcome and the very highest standard of service whenever you choose to visit us. Our extensive facilities include a flagstone Real Ale Bar, luxurious Lounge Bar offering morning coffee, light meals and afternoon tea and a unique stone vaulted rosette awarded a la carte restaurant. Our 35 individual en-suite bedrooms are tastefully decorated and many feature delightful beamed ceilings. The hotel boasts a unique stone vaulted Restaurant dating back to the 12th Century. The arched stone ceiling oozes charm & character whilst providing an idyllic setting for an intimate dining experience. A range of menus to suit a variety of tastes using local produce. The menus provide excellent value for money for that 'Special Evening out', Corporate Dining or simply a meal you do not have to prepare yourself. In addition a range of meals are served in the bars. Value for money is essential. Along with Chef's Daily Specials lunchtime and evening menus and table d'hote are offered as well as snacks and sandwiches. All dishes are fresh and prepared to order.

Head straight on toards the High St. The Bear Hotel is on your right hand side. The Car park is located directly behind the Hotel,take the first right after passing the hotel. EastBound:M4, J35, signposted for Bridgend. Travel towards Bridgend at the first roundabout take the 2nd turning, the at the 2nd roundabout take the 1st turning left towards A48 Cowbridge. Take the turing for Cowbridge onto the High street. The Bear Hotel is on your left hand side,the car park is at the rear of the hotel, take the first left after the Hotel.
