Carfax unites three Georgian town houses and retains many of their original features. Centrally located in the beautiful roman city of Bath, The Carfax has just 31 uniquely furnished and individually heated rooms, all of which are en- suite with either a bath or shower, or more often both.
We allocate a small number of our rooms to this excellent online agent, but not all our room stock. Today the hotel retains many reminders of its past, combined with excellent modern facilities.
Famous for its honey coloured Bath Stone buildings, sweeping crescents and magnificent architecture, Bath has much to offer the visitor - with all round festivals covering music, art, sport and leisure. The Roman Baths, Royal Crescent and Bath Abbey are only moments away from The Francis, as are the fashionable shops, galleries and antique markets.
Please note that the car parking at The Francis is limited and is chargeable for a 24 hours period.
The Square Restaurant features traditional British cuisine. The Caffebar serves British and Mediterranean food throughout the day.
Air conditioning is available in some bedrooms (on request).
