The drawing room, with live fire in the winter, together with the dining room have stunning floor to ceiling Georgian windows which overlook the charming and secluded garden. Breakfast, served in the elegant dining room, is a feast with a variety of choices from traditional English to house specialities and vegetarian selection all prepared to order and beautifully presented. There is also a delicious selection of fresh fruits, fruit juices, yoghurt and cereals available from the buffet table with Continental breakfast served in your room should you require. Henrietta Street, on which The Redcar Hotel stands, was designed between 1788 and 1792 by Sir William Pulteney and named after his daughter Henrietta Laura Pulteney. Three Georgian town houses were first converted into a Hotel in 1949. It was later sold to an organization owned by the famous entertainers Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdinck, who then spent a large amount of money extending and developing this fine hotel.
