The Swiss National Railway runs Intercity trains from Zurich to Chur. At Chur, take the superb train journey with the Rhaetian Railway to St. Moritz.
Zurich - St. Moritz: 200 km/ 125 miles, approximately 4 hours.
By car:
There are well-constructed alpine roads from the north of Switzerland, Ticino, Italy and Austria to St. Moritz, suitable for buses or private cars. To get to St. Moritz it takes about 3 hours from Zurich or Milan and 4 hours from Munich or Basel.
The Glacier Express:
This first-class train connects St. Moritz with Zermatt via Brig, Andermatt and Chur. During the 7.5 hourjourney, the Glacier Express takes you over 291 bridges and through 91 tunnels, offering wonderful views over the Alpine world.
