DescriptionBudget Waldhotel is the older part (chaletstyle-part) of the Waldhotel-Unspunnen. It is next to the hamlet of Unspunnen on thequicky way between Interlaken and Wilderswil. It's south situationgives a wonderful view to the Eiger-Mönch-Jungfrau range. The Budget-Walhotel is run by a 2nd generation by René and Margot Schneider-Wyttenbach since 1977. A nice home-from-home atmosphere - the boss and his wife work hard personally to please our guests. The Chalet is specially made for younger people looking for activities like all the adventure-sports and sight-seeing. The management is always wiled to give you local advice for activities etc.Jungfraujoch, Top of Europe, the highest railway station in Europe. James Bond's place Schilthorn with the revolving restaurant Piz Gloria. Acces with railway or cable car to Lauterbrunnen, Wengen, Grindelwald, Grindelwald-First, Pfingstegg as well as the Niederhorn. Sight seeing the Trümmelbach water-falls in the Lauterbrunnen valley. The caves of St. Beatus at the right hand shore of lake Thun. Steamer trips starting Interlaken for lake Thun and Interlaken-Ost for lake Brienz. Short trips to Brienz (the wood carving village, Giessbach-falls, nostalgic old Grand-Hotel. Visits to the Ballenberg-museum with old houses from all over Switzerland. The William Tell open air theater at Interlaken, the Casino Interlaken, the gardens of the Casino Interlaken with it's flower clock La Boule. Shopping in Interlaken or in the near distance.Schnadis-Restaurant with daily-specials and smaller a la carte-card with local specialties.
