Directions

By train Arriving at the Termini Station, you can get to the Augustus Hotel by taxi (3 minutes), on foot (15 minutes) or by n° 36 or 90 bus getting off at the Porta Pia stop, where just a few meters away you will see the hotel. By car: If you arrive from the North of Rome, take the Grande Raccordo Anulare (the Rome ring Road) in the direction of Fiumicino as far as the "Salaria" exit. Take Via Salaria and go as far as Piazza Fiume, then continue along Via Piave. If you arrive from the South of Rome, at the motorway exit take the Grande Raccordo Anulare (the Rome Ring road) in the direction of "Casilina". Leave the Ring Road at the "Casilina - direzione centro" exit and continue until San Giovanni. From San Giovanni, take Via Merulana towards Santa Maria Maggiore. Follow the road signs for the Termini Station, in the direction of Via XX Settembre, and then in the direction of Via Piave, where you will find the Augustus Hotel. By plane Rome has two international airports, both with excellent links to the center. From the Rome "Leonardo da Vinci" airport, you have several options for reaching the Augustus Hotel: - the Terravision Shuttle will take you to the Rome Termini Station. From here, take n°36 or 90 bus and get off at the Porta Pia stop, where you will see the Augustus Hotel just a few yards away; - the direct "Leonardo Express" train will bring you to the Termini Station in 20 minutes. From here, take n° 36 or 90 bus and get off at the Porta Pia stop; - by hired car, follow "Cristoforo Colombo" to the end, then go in the direction of the Coliseum, continuing beyond it. Turn left and then right, as far as Via Cavour. Continue towards the Termini Station, and finally towards via Piave; - by private taxi. From the Rome "Ciampino" airport, you have several options for reaching the Augustus Hotel: - by the Shuttle bus, you will arrive in Via Marsala, near the Termini Station. From here you can take a taxi (3 minutes), come on foot (15 minutes) or take a n° 36 or 90 bus getting off at the Porta Pia stop; - by hired car: take the direction of "Roma Appia Nuova" and after about 12 Km you will reach Piazza S. Giovanni in Laterano. Here, take Via Merulana towards Santa Maria Maggiore, then follow the road signs for the Termini Station, continuing then along Via Piave; - by private taxi.
