DirectionsFrom the airport of Milan Malpensa: from the Milan Malpensa airport the the 'Malpensa Express' train, leaving every 30 minutes, takes you in 30 minutes to the Bovisa station. The station is 1.5 km from the hotel - we suggest a taxi from the station, and will cost about 10 Euros to reach the hotel. From the Central Station to the Hotel La Residenza: take the yellow underground to the Maciachini final station (3rd stop), then the bus n.70 (Bruzzano) or 52 (Comasina) or 41 (Bovisasca) for 5 stops - ask the driver for the Via Pellegrino Rossi - Baveno stop. From bus stop turn right to Via Vignati for approx 200 mt and turn left into Via Scialoia - the Hotel La Residenza is on your right, after the Church.
From the Hotel La Residenza to the Duomo (centre):
in the Via Pellegrino Rossi (parallel to the hotel) take either the bus n.70 or 52 or 41, get off after 5 stops at Maciachini Square where there's the underground station of the Yellow line, take the metro in the San Donato direction and get off at the 6th stop Montenapoleone to visit the best area for shopping or get off at the 7th stop Duomo to visit the famous Cathedral.
By car: take the Tangenziale Est, Venezia direction, and follow the Torino signs. Exit at Cormano and follow the signs for Milan (be careful not to follow the signs for Cormano/Bresso).
Drive straight on, pass the traffic lights and continue straight on to the Via Rubicone.
After approx 500 metres drive on the bridge in the Bruzzano -Affori direction and at the traffic lights turn right in the Affori direction.
Drive straight on, reach the second traffic lights and turn left in the Via Astesani. Again straight on until you reach Via Pellegrino Rossi and then turn left in the Via Vignati (use the 'Penny Market' neon sign as a reference marker).
At the end of the short Via Vignati turn left and you are in Via Scialoia - the Hotel La Residenza is on your right, immediately after the church.
The drive from the Cormano exit to the hotel is approx 3,5 km.
