Hotel Phoenicia Malta stands at the entrance of Valletta, a short stroll away from the business centre, the Grand Harbour and a host of historical and architectural monuments. Designed in the 1920`s and built during the late 1940`s, Hotel Phoenicia Malta combines traditional, colonial and classical features with comfort and service. Rooms have all the comforts of a 5* hotel, some have balcony and views either over the garden or the harbour. For those seeking relaxation the hotel offers seven acres of garden with mini golf, children`s play area, heated outdoor pool, whirlpool and a fitness room. Guests who want to try International or Mediterranean specialities can either choose the elegant and sumptuous "Phoenix" restaurant or the cosy and relaxed "Pegasus Brasserie". (Guests should note that from November 9th to December 13th the hotel will be undergoing routine maintenance on its East Wing balconies consisting of masonry work and whitewashing. Disruption to guests will be minimal any and will be restricted only to the East Wing. As a result of this work, the Pegasus Brasserie will be closed during lunchtime between the 9th and the 18th November. Lunchtime service will be offered at the Phoenix Restaurant. Furthermore, due to an International Exhibition, the Phoenix Restaurant will not be available between November 19th and December 3rd. The Pegasus Brasserie and The Grand Ballroom will be used for service during this period). |

Malta International Airport is only 8 km away.
How to get there
Guests arriving by car should exit the airport and follow signs to Luqa, Marsa, Harmun and Valletta. Then follow the signs towards Pieta, Msida, Gzira, Sliema, St Julian's. Once in St Julian's, follow the signs to St George's Bay.
Room description
All rooms have an en suite bathroom with a shower/bathtub, individually adjustable air conditioning and heating, a direct dial telephone, a TV, a mini fridge/bar (charges apply), a hairdryer, and a safe (charges apply). Most rooms their own window, balcony or terrace and a wifi Internet connection is also available in some rooms. Furthermore, a radio and tea and coffee making facilities are provided in all accommodation as standard. A number of non-smoking rooms are also on offer.
Sports and entertainment
This hotel features a roof-top pool with a large sun terrace, sun loungers and parasols. For an additional fee guests may also try their hand as banana boating, water skiing, jet skiing, motor boating, diving, windsurfing, sailing and pedal boating. It is also possible to go horse riding and mountain biking (charges apply to both). Malta Golf Club is only a 35-minute drive away.
