Clarion Liffey Valley Hotel Description This urban hotel opened in the summer of 2006 and is designed to evoke a modern lifestyle. The hotel has 288 bedrooms aswell as 60 one or two-bedroom apartments. The hotel offers free car parking, the Italian Sinergie restaurant and the Kudos bar, which is the perfect place to taste Asian food. Additionally, the hotel provides a lobby with 24-hour reception, currency exchange facilities, elevators, a café, conference facilities and free wireless Internet access. For an additional fee guests can make use of the hotels room and laundry services.|
Location The hotel is located on the N4, close to the M50 (exit 7), on the orbital route around the developing suburbs of Dublin. The hotel is located close to the bustling Liffey Valley shopping complex with 100 well-known high street shops, Vue film centre, and a good variety of food outlets. The nearest public transport connection is a 10-minute drive away and attractions such as The Dublin History Museum, The Guinness Storehouse and Dublin Zoo can all be reached in 15 minutes by car. It is just 8 km to Dublin's city centre, and 12 km to Dublin airport.
How to get there From Dublin airport, take M1 motorway signposted for city centre/M50. Take first exit off M1 signposted for M50 southbound. Drive approximately 8 miles to toll bridge, go through and take next exit signposted exit 7 for N4 Sligo/The West/Lucan. When on the N4 move to left hand lane and follow signs for Liffey Valley shopping centre (this will be the first exit off the N4). Take left exit at 1st roundabout, take left exit at 2nd roundabout and take left exit at 3rd roundabout (Renault garage). The hotel is located on the right hand side. From city centre, from O'Connell street bridge in the city centre drive along the quays (westbound) and follows signs for The West/N4/M50. Cross over the M50 motorway onto the N4/Sligo. When on the N4 follow same instructions as for Dublin airport.
Room description The hotel offers 3 different types of smoking/non smoking superior rooms: with a double bed/ a double and a single bed, or a twin room. All the rooms include a minibar, 24-hour room service, free plug & play broadband Internet access, interactive digital TV when using laptop, Egyptian cotton sheets, high performance hairdryer and Spa therapy toiletries. The rooms are en suite with bath and shower and also feature a direct dial telephone, radio, kitchenette (with mini-fridge, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board), a safe and central heating. A sleep therapy programme is available.
Sports and entertainment The hotel offers complimentary use of an indoor heated pool (with childrens' section), sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, gym and aerobics room. Aerobics classes are offered for an additional charge.
