Klopp Hotel Description
With a total of 46 rooms the hotel is located in one of the most stately houses in Reykjavik's old city center. The attractive comfortable rooms are all equipped with private bath, telephone, radio and satellite TV. Breakfast is served daily, and guests are welcome to sit down in the breakfast room or our cozy lounge at any time of day, have a cup of coffe, or just rest after a day of sight-seeing. Excellent parking facilities in two city-operated parking garages situated a mere stones throw away. At Centerhotels guests are treated to friendly and personalized service and are assured of serene and restful accommodation in a refined atmosphere. Centerhotels are run by the Oliversson family, who have extensive experience in the hospitality business.

Domus Guesthouse
Conveniently located right in the centre of the Icelandic capital, the guest house is just one street away from Laugavegur, Reykjavik?s main street. The city?s shops and restaurants are all within easy walking distance, as are the bars and the night life for which Reykjavik is rightly famous. The guest house?s attractive stone building was once the Norwegian Embassy in Reykjavik and was then converted into a well-known singing school. It now offers a range of accommodation in the centre of Reykjavik, with single, double and triple rooms available, as well as private apartments and spaces in shared dormitories. As well as shops, bars and restaurants, Reykjavik?s museums and art galleries are also just a 5-minute walk from the guest house. The National Theatre and the Icelandic Opera are also close by and the harbour is just up the street, offering fantastic views of the Esja Mountain and the Snæfells glacier. All guests have access to a washing machine and dryer in the guest house. Complimentary wireless LAN internet access is available in the public areas of the guest house and in most of the rooms.
Borg

Location
Located in Reykjavik's Central Square across from the Cathedral and House of Parliament, this hotel could not be any more central. With the main shopping street just around the corner, Reykjavik is on your doorstep. Keflavik International Airport is a 45 minutes drive.

Rooms
Rooms vary in size from medium to large. Although they retain a traditional feel to them, rooms have all mod-cons and are almost luxurious. Decorated in pleasant soft colors, rooms are homely and comfortable. All rooms are in exceptional condition as are the character bathrooms.

Restaurant
Guests have use of two restaurants; The Cafe which is extremely popular with locals and has a lively atmosphere most of the day and evening; and the main restaurant, which offers a more formal dining experience in a luxurious traditional setting.

General
More of an institution than a mere hotel, this is certainly one of the best hotels in Reykjavik. Opened back in 1930, this hotel has a very high reputation. With its central location, good service and excellent product, success is sure to continue for this famous property.
