Hotel Moreni built on 1780m height above the sea level and 20 km away from the city centre of Sofia, sited on the east slope of Vitosha Mountain, offers splendid view to the national park and the city. The cabin lift starting from Simeonovo quarter and the chair lift from Dragalevski quarter, reach 150 m aside the hotel and the only one bus station /Bus number 66/ is opposite of the main entrance.
Hotel rooms are spread out over three floors, of which 3 are apartments, 4 VIP rooms and 16 double rooms. Furniture's style is contemporary with mountain elements, leather and wood materials, giving coziness and warmth. Ski packages from 1 to 7 days are available upon request for ski pass, overnight on full and half basis and ski equipment /Rossignol/.
The restaurant is 60 seated, offering national and European cuisine. Family and corporative events are organized all year around at the restaurant and in the conference room /40 seats/ multimedia equipped, team building events, incentive travel and kick off meetings.
Ski centre Aleko is located in immediate proximity to the hotel on the northeast side of Cherni Vrah /2290m/, which is the highest peak in Mountain Vitosha.
The snowfall starts in December as it continues until late spring as the snow coverage reach 1.5 m height. The biggest snow coverage is formed in March. The winter in the high parts of the mountain lasts between 5 and 7 months, and truly summer months are only July and August.
Aleko concentrates numerous ski facilities such as one cabin lift, 2 chair lifts, numerous cableways, catering facilities, and developed transportation network.
