A centuries old English owned riad in the northern part of the Marrakech medina, Dar Zaman is located in the very authentic 'quartier' of Sidi Ben Slimane, close to the Sidi Ben Slimane mosque. Tucked away at the end of a peaceful derb (cul-de-sac) away from the regular tourist trail and street noise, the neighbours are regular Marrakechis who make their homes here. Easily accessible by taxi (taxi stops 2 minutes walk from riad) and an easy 10 minute stroll to the Medersa Ben Youssef, Marrakech Museum and entrance to the main Souks area.Dar Zaman has been decorated and furnished exclusively by Marrakechi artisans, combining clean simplicity with traditional Moroccan craftsmanship. Centred around a peaceful interior patio with a plunge pool and trickling fountain, the riad offers four comfortable double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom and air conditioning.
